Shipping & Delivery
We ship free of charge by a forwarding agency. After your order you will receive a call from our carrier to arrange a suitable delivery date and a time period. We therefore ask you to provide us with your current telephone number and e-mail address when you place your order, so that we can arrange an appointment.
Our standard delivery period is one week irrespective of the country or region. The standard delivery period within Germany is 1-2 days.
The delivery period is agreed individually or specified by us upon acceptance of the order. If this is not the case, the delivery period will be approximately one week from conclusion of the contract. This presupposes the clarification of all required technical questions.
If we are unable to meet binding delivery periods due to reasons for which we are not responsible (non-availability of a service), we shall immediately inform the buyer of such under provision of information about the expected new delivery period. If the service is still not available within the new delivery period, we are entitled to withdraw from the contract, either in full or in part; we shall immediately refund any payment already made by the buyer. In this sense, ‘non-availability of a service’ shall particularly mean late delivery by our suppliers if we have concluded a congruent hedging transaction. Our statutory rescission and termination rights and the statutory provisions relating to the performance of the contract under the exclusion of liability (e.g. impossibility or non-feasibility of performance and/or supplementary performance) shall remain unaffected. The cancellation and termination rights of the buyer shall also remain unaffected in accordance with Article 8 of these Terms and Conditions.
The existence of a delay in delivery on our part shall be governed by the statutory provisions. In all cases, however, the buyer is required to issue a written warning. If we default on delivery, the buyer may claim lump-sum compensation for damages caused by the delay. This shall equate to 0.5% of the net price (delivery value) for each full calendar week of delay up to a maximum of 5% of the contract value of the goods that were delivered with a delay. We reserve the right to prove that the buyer did not suffer any damages or is entitled to a considerably lower amount of damages than the aforementioned lump sum.
